The Plot:
"Great news!! Wei Wuxian has died!" Within the cultivation world every sect and clan rejoiced when the news of the demonic cultivator Wei Wuxian was finally defeated by his own brother and his ashes were burnt, never being able to reincarnate. However, what they didn't know is that Wei Wuxian was brought back to life after 11 years, by a individual who went by the name Mo Xuanyu. Sacraficing his body, Mo Xuanyu summons Wei Wuxian allowing him to have full control of his body. In order for him to stay, Wei Wuxian must fulfil Mo Xuanyu's dying wishes, unfortunately for him they weren't written and with Mo Xuanyu gone he must find out. Who would know that his wish would make him encounter his bestfriend and a adventure the two would embark.

Hi everyone!! I have finally finished MDZS and boy did I have so much fun reading this!! It took me a while, reading it for like 2 months. After one year I can finally say I've finished MXTX big three!! Anyways I've got exam block soon and I have to focus on doing my math so you might not hear from me as much. I hope you enjoy the review!!
Discovery and Character Design:
I discovered MDZS when I found Heavens Official Blessing. I didn't really look at it on other platforms but I did find out that the untamed was an adaption of it. I did not watch the untamed unfortunately. I also got a bit spoiled from the extra chapters and yikes let me say this is spicier and uncensored, unlike Heaven's Official Blessing and the Scumbag Villains Self-Saving System (And I seriously though SVSSS was the worse of it....Boy was I wrong.) The characters in this novel are well written, just like the other two and I quite enjoyed a few of the characters and descriptions of them. Such as Nie Huaisang who was nicknamed 'Headshaker' after every single question that was asked from him. Anyways.
Wei Wuxian the main character, unlike how many people describe him in the novel is a happy go lucky type of guy. He enjoys risks and loves the thrill. The rumours don't do this guy justice, though. Wei Wuxian is like the boogeyman in the cultivation world, say his name once and people would get instant chills. Which is funny because I generally think bro is a chill guy when you don't do a misdeed. He is dressed up in mainly black clothes and ties his hair in a ponytail. I would think the black clothes he wore, outlined or made his character look like villain due to black being a very sinister colour at times.
Following Wei Wuxian, we have his serious old friend Lan Wangji. Before he had died, Wei Wuxian and Lan Wangji used to be well acquainted (Atleast I hope). Lan Wangji is from the Gusulan Sect notorious for their strict rules and teaching, their uniforms consisted of white garments and a forehead ribbon and both him and his brother are called the jades in the sect. He overall is a very quiet character, focusing on his studies rather then people. When Wei Wuxian barges into his life though he starts to change.
There are many characters in this novel so I don't really feel like writing all of them but I would like to say that I really like Jiang Cheng, Wei Wuxian's brother. He is so funny and honestly a little bit nuts. I hate his guts at times, but I generally like how angry bro gets. Canonically, I have also heard that he is banned from the matchmaker because of his anger issues. Hmmm If I had to think about it, he is like a character I don't want to meet in real life but just reading about him makes me laugh.
Likes and Dislikes?
I GENERALLY REALLY LIKED THIS NOVEL :>> It is amazing and MXTX is such a great writer, the way they weave a story and the way that it just takes you on this adventure that you were never expecting honestly really excites me. I enjoy the fact that the romance is not the sole focus of a story and that the story builds the main character and the characters around them. A lot of aspects were done really good in the novel, such as plot twists, the mystery and the emotional challenges that the leads faced. I can say that I cried two times while reading this and it really gets you. One part your like 'Yeah kick some ass!!' and then the next your like 'can we turn back time...' Do I have any dislikes? I don't believe so. I generally think this novel did so well on taking you on a journey and loved the way they showed how propaganda can affect a individuals life and the society around them. Overall, give this a try!

Well alright hi again. I never expected this novel to be so spicy. Like both of them match eachothers freak, they are too freaky even for me. That's all I have to say, right now I am so tired lol.
